This 1971 GMC Jimmy 4x4 for sale in Fair Oaks, California. Originally is a project car recently been partially restored including both body and mechanical works but it need to finishing touch for regular use. The photos was shown here is what looks to be a very decent driver example with plenty of potential. Alredy posted in Carigslist about a month ago still available when we write here.

1971 GMC Jimmy 4x4 4spd V8 Driver - Rust Free Body! & ETBI - $11,000 o.b.o.

Unfortunately the time has come for me to list my father's 1971 GMC Jimmy for sale. My father passed away last year and it's time for the truck to find a new home. I will try my best to detail out all the parts that are on the truck or included in the sale and the work that has been done on the truck over the years. I'm sure I will miss things and some questions I might not know the answer to but I will do my best. I spent many hours working on this truck with my father over the years but I don't have the time, money, knowledge or space to finish it or enjoy it.

My father spent many hours meticulously performing all of the body rust repair with steel replacement panels. So the Jimmy now has a completely rust free body. New inner and outer rocker panels on both sides, and some repaired quarter panels. The truck is sprayed in grey primer right now and is a driver. I try to drive it several times a month to keep everything working properly.

Details:
Factory 4x4, 350 V8, 4spd, with power brakes and power steering.
Late 1980's Chevy Camero Electronic Throttle Body Injection. Starts every time!
Yellow top Optima battery.
Full factory removable hardtop with full glass and rear hatch with locking hinges. Bikini top and Bestop full soft-top with roll-able side and rear windows.
Period correct dealer installed option -- Hickey Sidewinder Winch, rebuilt and partially installed with steel skid plate. The winch only needs to be wired up and a cable installed.
The Jimmy has a 2 inch lift kit installed with new Bilstein shocks all around.
Period correct steel rally wheels with new 33x12.5 R15 General Grabber AT2's.
Period correct ram horn style front tow hooks (2).
Period correct dealer installed roll bar.
Warn locking front hubs.
Full gauge cluster without vacuum. (speedometer with odometer, tachometer, oil pressure, battery charging, coolant temperature, fuel level.)
Newer 4-core radiator.
Refurbished factory radio now has an auxiliary port to listen to an external source of music.
Period correct factory or dealer installed under dash-mounted speaker.
New chrome front and rear bumpers and front grill.
Factory service manuals included too.
California registration is fully paid through March 2017. Clean title in hand.
The front drive shaft is currently not installed on the truck but it is included in the sale.
Later model GMC leather wrapped steering wheel, but the stock plastic wheel is included in the sale.
Tons of extra parts included in sale: stock carburetor, center console, etc..

The only remaining work that would be needed to finish the Jimmy I think would be:
Paint
Install front drive shaft and door weather stripping (both included in the sale)
Reupholster the seats and add a carpet kit
Rebuild the drive train if you wanted to (my father hadn't done this yet)
