Up for sale is my classic 2-door Isuzu Trooper II 4x4.
It is a 5-speed manual transmission and is a lot of fun to drive. The 4x4 is variable levered and works fine. Tow package for the fishers.
These less common (some would say rare) 2 door models with round headlights were made for a few select years in the 80's. Built on a truck chassis they're lightweight and have truck stylings like cool quarter-glass windows in the front and sliding windows in the back. Japanese design detailings per the expected Isuzu mark. The rear seat folds down and has spacious cargo.
This one has about 155,000 miles on it and has the dings and wear/tear you might expect on a 30 year old 4x4. Tears and some spots on the bucket seats in front. A few dings on the outside. Paint faded. Radio and electronics work. AC and heat work. Windshield wipers work, lights work, etc.
It has the original two-tone paint with pin-stripe, a new clutch, a new battery, and runs pretty well. A restoration paint job would make it look pretty sweet. The tires are mid-used but in good condition. Take it camping. I've driven it on 2-hour non-stops on the freeway at 60-70mph or so without trouble. The engine light will pop on from time to time if you don't shift it on-time or push the RPMs too far. My mechanic says it doesn't appear to be an issue other than what you'd expect from an outdoor vehicle of this age. I don't really want to sell it but I'm out of parking and can only have so many "fun" vehicles at one time and just picked up a classic sports-car.
Clean title in hand. Registered until February 2018 at which point you'll enjoy the tweaking that comes with a smog check. Last time I passed with my mechanic for like $80 bucks.
You can come see it and drive it in Atwater Village. If you don't know how to drive a manual transmission let's not waste our time or burn up the clutch. Let me know if you have any questions. $2,600 obo.
