Found this on craigslist, VW Syncro was offered for sale by the owner in Bellingham, Washington. This 1990 VW Syncro Vanagon with a differential lock, runs and drives well. No words about the engine swapping to Subaru, as usual on most Syncro out there. The transmission has been replaced with a rebuilt one along with a new clutch and slave cylinder. Selling my 1990 VW Syncro, it's a 4x4 Vanagon with a differential lock. It has 7 seat belts; driver, passenger, two rear facing removable seats (see pics) and a bench seat that folds down into a bed. Sleeps two comfortably. Has a USB/Aux radio. The floor is all weather rubber matting. Yakima rooftop bars included. The wheels were sized up to 16", has a set of BFG All-Terrain tires and a full size spare (also a 16"/BFG), plenty of life left in them.

Had run ins with the cooling system in the past, replaced a few hoses with new VanCafe silicone hoses and put in a new expansion cap and hasn't given me problems since. In February of 2018 I replaced the original transmission with a rebuilt one along with a new clutch and slave cylinder. Has VC and differential lock. It has accumulated some rust over the years(see pictures), could certainly use some attention. Odometer reads 72,250 km, as far as I know that is correct but I took the value with a grain of salt when I purchased the van. Speedometer and odometer are both in kilometers. The van had two owners (Canadian) before myself, service records came with the vehicle when I purchased it. Clean title. The van is in good driving condition and has been my daily driver in the past.
